Third Great War
The Third Great War was a nuclear conflict that occurred in the late 1960s instigated by the United States of America. The conflict occurred when the Confederate Air Force shot down a Yankee bomber carrying an atomic payload over Kentucky which resulted in the destruction of Frankfort as it was believed the bomb was a gun type device. The Confederate response was the destruction of Baltimore with its own nuclear device. The resulting conflict escalated into a full scale nuclear war which included nearly every nuclear power. The resulting conflicted resulted in a far greater loss of life and infrastructure than any war previously seen.
